AWS announces GenAI accelerator with $230M commitment
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a substantial $230 million commitment to support generative AI startups worldwide via the AWS Generative AI Accelerator program. This initiative includes providing AWS credits, mentorship, and educational resources to help startups advance their AI and machine learning technologies. The program is set to support 80 early-stage startups, each receiving up to $1 million in AWS credits, along with technical sessions and mentorship from AWS experts. Applications are open until July 19, with the program commencing in October.
The initiative aims to drive innovation across diverse sectors, including financial services, healthcare, media, and climate change, by leveraging the transformative potential of AI. This strategic move by AWS underscores its dedication to fostering a robust AI ecosystem and enabling startups to scale their innovative solutions effectively.
