Nadella yesterday:
"We are introducing Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. This is a big step forward in making in making AI accessible to every employee in every business."
It seems to me that Microsoft no longer knows what is a step forward and what is a step backward.
Copilot Chat is just an interface to enable agentic actions. Now that it's available within Microsoft 365, Microsoft has opened up use cases for many of its B2B customers.
The latter statement doesn't imply a step forward for AI; however, it is a major step forward in making AI accessible to a specific kind of user for a specific set of use cases.
